Yoga and Pilates have become such an important part of my daily life here in beautiful Napa Valley, California and I'm grateful you are interested in these practices as well. When I decided to become a yoga instructor, it was after I had taken a transformative meditation and yoga class that took me far away from anything that was weighing on my mind. When that session ended, I decided it was time to learn how to share this possibility with others. I have always experienced moderate to sever anxiety and Yoga became a way for me to manage my own. Finding this practice has changed my lifestyle and helped me to find perspective.
Now, I have the opportunity to share this passion with others as they begin their journey to become Yoga instructors. Cloud Nine Yoga School as been teaching teachers for 25+ years. Iam honored to join the Cloud Nine Yoga School as a Yoga Trainer.
I've been teaching yoga for five years now, and practicing yoga for about eight. I've taught over 1,200 classes. I've taught most styles of Yoga including Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Gentle Yoga, and Meditation. I've taught all sizes of classes from one on one private classes to groups as large as 50 students. I've been fortunate enough to teach in beautiful places like Carneros Resort, Auberge Du Soleil, Solage, Alila, and Indian Springs.
I've been teaching Mat Pilates for 2 years and I've recently been trained in Reformer Pilates. Pilates will address the core, back, arms, and legs.
Students who regularaly practice Pilates with me notice a difference in their strength, tone, and confidence.

My second goal is to share yoga with any one who is interesterested in learning. Yoga is a practice to unite the mind and body. The benefits are endless. You can use Yoga to relieve anxiety and stress, center the mind, fitness, flexibility or all of the above.
My third goal is share the beauty of what Pilates can do for the body. Pilates is a full body workout strengthening the arms, back, legs, and the core. The core and the back will always require strenghth. When I started to experience lower back pain, I was led to Pilates. Since starting Pilates, I have noticed a huge difference in my back strength and my pain has disappeared. As we age, keeping this area strong or building strength will prevent injuries. As a bonus, it also tones the core, back, arms, and legs!
